The Maker’s Clubhouse works to positively transform the life outcomes for children in particular in Homewood. We have served Faison students since fall 2011 in various capacities. We currently serve Pittsburgh Faison K-5 during and after school through a variety of initiatives:

Social Skills Groups – small group sessions for students in kindergarten through 2nd grade. They are designed to equip students with the skills necessary for positive peer interaction and to improve social skills.

Robotics Lunch Groups – students in 3rd through 5th grade complete robot challenges and are exposed to logic.

Afterschool Program – students participate in a STEAM focused program four days a week. They also receive character development and athledemics (combination of academics and athletics).

Summer Program – students in 3rd through 6th grade participate in a 5 week day camp that explores environmental education, sports and the science behind them.
